Hyderabad, July 1: Several parts of Hyderabad will experience scheduled power interruptions on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, as the Telangana power utility undertakes tree-cutting, feeder maintenance and repair works across multiple divisions. The shutdowns will affect areas under Falaknuma, Azamabad, Hyderabad-1, Greenlands and Rayadurgam divisions at different times during the day.
Residents are advised to charge essential electronic devices in advance and plan their day accordingly, as electricity supply will remain suspended for a few hours in the notified localities.

The interruption is being carried out due to repair works on the PJR and Telecom Nagar 11 KV power feeders.
Advisory for Residents
Residents in the affected areas are advised to complete essential household work before the scheduled shutdown begins and keep mobile phones, laptops, inverters and other important devices fully charged. Businesses and commercial establishments that depend on uninterrupted electricity should also make backup arrangements.
Power supply is expected to be restored after the completion of maintenance and repair works. However, restoration may vary depending on field conditions and the progress of the scheduled works.
