Hyderabad: Several parts of Hyderabad and adjoining Narsingi will experience scheduled power outages on Thursday, July 9, 2026, as the Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL) carries out repair and maintenance work across multiple feeders and substations.
According to electricity department officials, power supply will remain suspended at different locations between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, depending on the feeder and maintenance schedule. Residents and commercial establishments in the affected areas are advised to plan their day accordingly and complete essential work in advance.
Bhanunagar Feeder
Power supply will remain interrupted from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in areas falling under the 11KV Bhanunagar feeder due to repair works.
Affected areas include:
- Anna Dairy Farm
- Mumtaz Colony
- Bhanu Nagar
- Turning Point School
- Sports Road
Chandraiah Huts Feeder
A separate shutdown has also been scheduled under the Chandraiah Huts feeder from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Areas likely to be affected:
- IBP Petrol Bank
- SBI Bank
- Crystal Bar
- SNR Library
- IS Sadan X Road
Narsingi and Manikonda Areas
In the Narsingi-Manikonda region, electricity supply will remain suspended from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm due to repair works at the Market Yard and Vattinagulapalli substations.
Market Yard Substation
The following localities are expected to witness power interruptions:

- Nemalinagar Road
- Keshavnagar
- Marwa Township
- YSR Junction
- Mangalya Shopping Mall
- Narsingi Village
- Sai Baba Temple
- ORR Circle
Vattinagulapalli Substation
Power supply will also remain affected in the following areas:
- Lansam
- Lisagrave
- Jayabheri Park
- Shankar Hospital
- Sri Hills
- Main Convention
- Jayabheri Service Road
Residents Advised to Plan Ahead
Residents, businesses and commercial establishments in the affected localities are advised to charge electronic devices, ensure backup power arrangements where necessary, and complete important household or office work before the scheduled shutdown begins.
Power supply is expected to be restored after the maintenance and repair works are completed, though restoration timings may vary depending on the progress of the work.
