Hubballi-Kollam Special Train: SWR Announced a Special Service to Manage Rush During Easter & Good Friday

South Western Railway has announced a one-time special train service between SSS Hubballi and Kollam to manage the extra number of passengers travelling during the Good Friday and Easter season.

As per the official release, Train No. 07347 Hubballi-Kollam Express Special will depart from Hubballi at 7:05 am on April 2 and will reach Kollam at 7:00 am on April 3. For the return journey, Train No. 07348 Kollam-Hubballi Express Special will leave Kollam at 10:45 am on April 3 and arrive back at Hubballi at 10:40 am on April 4.

Major Stoppages of this Special Train

During its journey, the train will stop at many important stations to help passengers from different regions. These include SMM Haveri, Ranebennur, Harihar, Davangere, Birur, Arsikere, Tumakuru, SMVT Bengaluru, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Kuppam, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Changanassery, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, and Kayankulam.

Special Train Coaches

The special train will have a total of 17 coaches to accommodate different types of passengers, including one AC 2-tier coach, three AC 3-tier coaches, seven sleeper class coaches, four general second-class coaches, and two SLR/D, Seating-cum-Luggage Rake coaches.

This special train service is expected to provide relief to passengers and make travel more convenient for people heading to their hometowns or holiday destinations during this festive time.
