Holi Special Trains 2025 Announced from Gomtinagar, Gorakhpur and More; Check Routes, Schedules

To help travelers reach their destinations during the Holi festival, railway authorities have introduced special train services. These trains will operate single journeys from different cities to popular destinations, making travel easier for passengers. Each train will have 17 coaches to accommodate more travelers during the festive season.

Special Trains for Holi Travel

One of the main special trains is the Gomtinagar-Malda Town Special (Train No. 05084). It will leave Gomtinagar on March 6 at 2:20 PM. The train will stop at important stations like Barabanki, Gonda, Basti, and Gorakhpur before reaching Malda Town on March 7 at 2:30 PM. Another train, the Gomtinagar-Bhagalpur Special (Train No. 05086), will depart on March 7 and will reach Bhagalpur at 10:35 AM the next day.

More Trains Added to the Network

The railway department has also planned other trains to help travelers. The Gorakhpur-Asansol Special (Train No. 05088) will start from Gorakhpur on March 7 at 8:50 PM and reach Asansol the next morning. Similarly, the Gorakhpur-Howrah Special (Train No. 05090) will leave on March 9 and arrive in Howrah in the early morning.

For those traveling from Ghazipur City to Sealdah, the Ghazipur City-Sealdah Special (Train No. 05092) will start on March 6 and reach Sealdah the next morning. The Katihar-Amritsar-Katihar Holi Special (Train No. 05734/05733) will run four times. It will depart from Katihar on Thursdays between March 6 and 27 and return from Amritsar on Sundays between March 8 and 29. This train will pass through important stations like Lucknow and Kanpur Central and will reach Amritsar on the third day of its journey.

The railway authorities have made all arrangements to ensure passengers have a comfortable journey. Travelers are encouraged to use these special services and plan their trips in advance to avoid overcrowding. By introducing these special trains, the railway department aims to make Holi travel easy, allowing passengers to celebrate the festival of colors with their loved ones without any trouble.
