The resumed operation of the bus service between Delhi and Leh has been announced by the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC). This is the world's highest bus route, with buses traveling through some of the most challenging and beautiful terrains in the world.

After being discontinued on September 15 of last year due to significant snowfall on the Manali-Leh highway's high mountain passes, the bus service now is all set to resume almost after 9 months.

The bus service will run every day and go a distance of roughly 1072 km. The trip will last about two days, with a stopover at Keylong. Daily at 15:30, the bus will depart from Delhi's inter-state bus terminus (ISBT) and will arrive in Leh by 18:00 the next day making it a journey full of beautiful sceneries through the way.

The highway connecting Manali and Leh is one of the most beautiful and difficult roads in the world. The Baralacha Pass, the Nakeela Pass, and the Taglang La Pass are just a few of the high passes that the route crosses as it weaves through the Himalayas. The Tanglang La Pass, which is located at an elevation of 17,582 feet, is the highest point on the roadway.
