Delhi, July 1: Several parts of Delhi will experience scheduled power outages on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, as power distribution companies carry out routine maintenance and infrastructure works across multiple divisions. Consumers under BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) and BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) are expected to face temporary electricity interruptions at different times during the day.
Residents in the affected localities are advised to plan ahead by charging essential electronic devices and making necessary arrangements, especially if they rely on uninterrupted electricity for work, online services or medical equipment.
Delhi Power Cut Today: Area-wise Schedule
- Palam Division (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM): Palam, Raj Nagar 2, Raj Nagar Extension, Sector 8 Dwarka, Sector 9 Dwarka, Nasirpur and parts of the Palam Division.
- Janakpuri Division (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM): Janakpuri, Janakpuri District Centre and surrounding pockets.
- Janakpuri Division (10:00 AM to 12:00 PM): Janakpuri and nearby localities.
- Dwarka Division (10:00 AM to 3:00 PM): Various sectors of Dwarka.
- Nizamuddin Division (11:00 AM to 1:00 PM): Nizamuddin, Ganga Vihar (Blocks A & B), parts of Sarai Kale Khan, Vidyut Vihar Phase 1 and Sunlight Colony.
- Khanpur Division (11:00 AM to 12:00 PM): Khanpur, Tigri Colony and Tigri Sangam Vihar.
- Mohan Garden Division (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM): Mohan Garden, surrounding residential colonies and nearby areas.
- Tagore Garden Division (11:00 AM to 1:00 PM): Tagore Garden, Mukherjee Park, Choukhandi and Vishnu Garden.
- Chhatarpur Division (11:00 AM to 1:00 PM): Maidan Garhi Village.
- Hauz Khas Division (11:00 AM to 12:30 PM): Pocket B, Katwaria Sarai.
- Punjabi Bagh Division (11:00 AM to 11:45 AM): Booster Pump area in Punjabi Bagh.
- Jaffarpur Division (10:00 AM to 12:00 PM): Rawta Village and Jaffarpur Kalan Village.
- Palam Division (11:00 AM to 1:00 PM): Pocket 6, Sector 1 and Nasirpur.
- Palam Division (11:00 AM to 3:00 PM): Block G Raj Nagar 2, Block F Raj Nagar Extension, Raj Nagar and Sector 9 Dwarka.
- BYPL East Delhi Circle (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM): Various parts of East Delhi.

Advisory for Residents
Residents in the affected areas are advised to complete essential household chores before the scheduled shutdown begins and keep mobile phones, laptops, inverters and other important devices fully charged. Businesses and establishments dependent on uninterrupted electricity should also make suitable backup arrangements.
Power supply is expected to be restored once the scheduled maintenance work is completed. However, restoration timings may vary depending on field conditions and operational requirements.
