New Delhi: Several parts of Delhi are expected to witness scheduled power outages on Thursday, July 9, 2026, as distribution companies undertake maintenance and system improvement works across multiple divisions. Areas served by BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) and BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) are likely to experience temporary power interruptions at different times during the day.

Residents living in the affected localities are advised to charge essential electronic devices in advance and plan activities around the scheduled shutdown timings.
BYPL Areas to Face Power Shutdown
Under BYPL's East Delhi divisions, electricity supply will remain suspended from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm in parts of Karawal Nagar, Gokulpuri and Nand Nagri.
