Residents across several parts of Delhi are likely to experience scheduled power interruptions on Friday, July 3, 2026, as power distribution companies, including BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL), BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL), Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) and NDMC, carry out maintenance, transformer upgrades, LT circuit works and network improvement activities.
According to the maintenance schedule, electricity supply will remain suspended for varying durations across South, West, East, North and Central Delhi. Consumers in the affected localities are advised to charge essential devices in advance and plan their day accordingly.

- 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM: Block 4, Subhash Nagar (LT circuit maintenance).
Hauz Khas Division
- 11:07 AM to 12:07 PM: IIT Delhi, Hauz Khas (LT circuit maintenance).
- 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM: Pocket B, Katwaria Sarai (LT ACB low-height work).
Nangloi Division
- 11:07 AM to 1:07 PM: Block B, Amanpuri and Kamruddin Nagar (transformer network upgradation).
- 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM: Adhyapak Nagar and Block H, Vandana Vihar (transformer network upgradation).
Sarita Vihar Division

Why Is the Power Supply Being Interrupted?
The scheduled outages are part of planned maintenance aimed at strengthening Delhi's electricity distribution infrastructure. Utility companies will carry out transformer upgrades, LT circuit maintenance, network modernisation, RMU repairs and other technical works to improve the reliability and stability of power supply.
Advisory for Residents
Residents in affected areas are advised to charge mobile phones, laptops, power banks and inverters before the scheduled outage. Businesses and those working from home should complete important online tasks in advance. Power supply is expected to be restored after the maintenance work is completed, subject to operational requirements.
