Several parts of Delhi are expected to experience temporary power cuts on Thursday, August 20, due to scheduled maintenance and repair work.

According to the available outage schedule, the BRPL areas listed below are expected to face power shutdowns between 8:30 AM and 3 PM. In Uttam Nagar, the affected locations include Block C, Uttam Vihar and Bindapur. In Janakpuri, Block VB and Virendra Nagar are included in the list.
Delhi Power Cut Areas
Residents in areas including Uttam Nagar, Janakpuri, Hauz Khas, Vasant Kunj, Palam, Sarita Vihar, Tagore Garden, Nangloi, Nizamuddin, Chhattarpur, Mundka, Khanpur, Mohan Garden, Punjabi Bagh, Alaknanda and Vikaspuri may face interruptions in electricity supply.
Residents of Hauz Khas should note that the outage may affect IIT Delhi, Gautam Nagar and Block A of Qutub Institutional Area. In Vasant Kunj, Shahabad Mohammadpur Village and parts of Dwarka are listed. Palam areas such as Vaishali Colony, Vaishali Extension, Block B Raj Nagar 2 and Block A Mahavir Enclave may also experience a shutdown.
Other affected locations include Madanpur Khadar Village in Sarita Vihar; Block WZ Khyala and Vishnu Garden under Tagore Garden; and several colonies in Nangloi, including Uday Vihar 2, Adhyapak Nagar, Shri Ram Colony, Shiv Vihar, Tek Chand Colony and Chander Vihar. Nizamuddin areas such as IP Estate, Sant Nagar, Sunder Nagar and Pragati Maidan are also included.
Moreover, Phase 1 of Chhattarpur Enclave, JJ Colony Bakarwala, Yadav Park, Kamruddin Nagar, Jamia Hamdard, Laxmi Vihar, Nawada, Punjabi Bagh, N-Block Kalkaji, Krishna Colony and Hastsal Village are among the areas listed for scheduled outages.
Meanwhile, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited has also scheduled outages in parts of Nangali Poona, Roopali Enclave, Sultanpuri, Daryapur, Pocket 16 of Sector 24, Khadda Colony and Haiderpur Village. These cuts are scheduled at different times between 8:30 AM and 3 PM for repair, maintenance, and project-related work.
Residents are advised to charge electronic devices beforehand and make necessary arrangements for the temporary disruption.
