Residents of Bhopal should prepare for scheduled power outages on April 28, 2026, as the electricity department has announced supply disruptions across more than 40 areas. The shutdown is part of planned maintenance and conductor stringing work aimed at improving power infrastructure and ensuring long-term reliability.
According to official information, electricity supply will be interrupted for durations ranging from two to seven hours, depending on the locality. The outages will be carried out in phases across different time slots throughout the day, primarily between early morning and late afternoon.
