Special trains will run between Bengaluru and Tirunelveli to manage the additional passenger rush.

Bengaluru-Tirunelveli Special Train
Train No. 06527 KSR Bengaluru-Tirunelveli Junction Special will depart from KSR Bengaluru at 11.35 p.m. on Friday, September 11, and reach Tirunelveli Junction at 1.15 p.m. the next day. The train will stop at Bengaluru Cantonment, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai Junction, Virudhunagar, Sattur and Kovilpatti. For the return journey, Train No. 06528 Tirunelveli Junction-Bengaluru Cantonment Special will leave Tirunelveli Junction at 3.45 p.m. on Saturday, September 12. It will reach Bengaluru Cantonment at 3.30 a.m. the following day.
The return train will halt at Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Karur, Namakkal, Salem, Bangarapet and Krishnarajapuram.
The special train will have one AC 2-tier coach, three AC 3-tier coaches, 10 sleeper class coaches and four general second class coaches. It will also have luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The special service is being introduced to provide additional travel options for passengers and help clear the extra rush between Bengaluru and Tirunelveli.
