Bengaluru Power Cut, July 9: Several parts of Bengaluru are set to witness a scheduled power outage on Thursday, July 9, 2026, as the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) undertakes emergency maintenance, power line quality improvement, and other urgent works. According to the utility, power supply is expected to remain disrupted from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in several localities, although electricity may be restored earlier if the maintenance work is completed ahead of schedule.

Residents and businesses in the affected areas are advised to make necessary arrangements in advance, including charging essential electronic devices and ensuring backup power wherever required.
