Bengaluru is set to experience significant power outages on Wednesday as BESCOM undertakes maintenance work. Several neighborhoods across the city will be impacted, and residents are advised to prepare for possible disruptions that may affect their daily activities.

Power Outage Timings
On Wednesday, scheduled power cuts will take place from 10 AM to 3 PM in areas such as Koramangala, National Games Village, Jyothi Nivas College, and ST Bed. In addition, from 10 AM to 5 PM, outages will affect several other localities, including RK Garden, Sanjeevappa Colony, MLA Layout, Netaji Nagar, Pipeline Road, Mathikere, JP Park, BK Nagar, LIC Colony, Pampa Nagar, Yeshwantpur, HMT Layout, Gurumurthy Reddy Colony, SBM Colony, Brindavan Nagar, and VR Layout.
Extended Disruptions in Other Localities
Additionally, power supply will be disrupted from 11 AM to 5 PM in HBR Layout and adjoining areas such as Yasin Nagar and Subhash Layout. Other affected neighborhoods include Ramdev Garden, Krishnareddy Layout, Teachers Colony, and CMR Road. Outages are also expected along Kamanahalli Main Road and in Ramaiah Layout.
Thursday's Scheduled Outages
The following day, scheduled power cuts will occur from 10 am to 5 pm in Bommanahalli and HSR Layout, with Jakkasandra and Koramangala also affected during this period. Residents in these areas are advised to take necessary precautions to minimize the disruption caused by the outages.
These interruptions are part of essential maintenance work aimed at upgrading and strengthening the city's power infrastructure. While they may cause temporary inconvenience for homes and businesses, such measures are vital for ensuring long-term reliability and improved electricity supply.
