The bus will depart from Kempegowda Bus Station at 4 pm and travel through Sira, Hiriyuru, and Challakere before reaching Ballari at 9.45 pm. The service will reach Challakere at 8 pm. For the return journey, the bus will leave Ballari at 5.06 pm and reach Bengaluru at 10.40 pm. The service is intended to provide passengers with another travel option between the two cities. The fare for a passenger travelling from Bengaluru to Ballari is ₹802, while the fare for the Bengaluru-Challakere journey is ₹634.
The newly introduced service adds to the existing Airavat Club Class and Airavat Club Class 2.0 services operating between Bengaluru and Ballari. Existing services on the route have multiple schedules during the day, with fares ranging from ₹802 to ₹864, depending on the service.
The new multi-axle service is expected to provide an additional comfortable travel option for passengers travelling between Bengaluru, Ballari and the intermediate destinations of Sira, Hiriyuru and Challakere.
The introduction of the service comes as part of KSRTC's efforts to provide more travel options on important intercity routes and meet passenger demand.
