Amrit Bharat Express between Banaras & Hadapsar has been Approved, Aiming to Improve Connectivity

The Ministry of Railways has approved a new Amrit Bharat Express train between Banaras and Hadapsar in Pune, aimed at providing affordable travel for people from lower and lower-middle income groups. It is also expected to improve rail connectivity between Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, making travel easier between the two states.

Amrit Bharat Train from Banaras to Hadapsar

The train from Banaras to Hadapsar will run as train number 22589, while the return service from Hadapsar to Banaras will run as train number 22590. The train will pass through Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi railway station on its route.

Important Stations

During its journey, the train will stop at 18 stations, including Prayagraj Junction, Fatehpur Railway Station, Govindpuri Railway Station, Orai Railway Station, Bina Junction, Rani Kamlapati Railway Station, Itarsi Junction, Bhusawal Junction, Manmad Junction, and Daund Chord Line, among others. The train will run daily, making it convenient for regular travellers. It will have 22 coaches, including Sleeper class and General Second Class, along with other basic facilities. To operate this service efficiently, four train sets will be used.

Time Schedule of Vande Bharat Express

As per the schedule, train number 22589 will leave Banaras at 6:15 pm and reach Hadapsar at 12:10 am. On the return journey, train number 22590 will depart from Hadapsar at 7:50 am and reach Banaras at 2:30 pm the next day.
