Kolkata has just been added as Akasa Air's 17th destination. It has included Kolkata in its network and it will begin operating daily nonstop flights on May 18 connecting the East Indian metropolis with Bengaluru and Guwahati. A daily direct trip from Bengaluru to Guwahati will also be available to passengers, allowing for a smooth connection without the need to change aircraft.
