The harvest festival, or Makar Sankranti, is a significant occasion observed in India. Akasa Air has announced a special festival menu to be offered on board its flights to commemorate the occasion.
The newest airline in India, Akasa Air, has introduced a unique festive menu for Makar Sankranti that includes pan-fried potatoes with sesame flavoring and Rajwadi Khichdi along with Peanut Chikki as well as a choice of beverage. This is the most recent in a string of holiday menus that the airline offers travelers all year long for a special dining experience in the air.
The nutritious Sankranti meal is Akasa Air's most recent homage to the culinary legacy of India and aspires to commemorate its lively, diverse culture. It is influenced by regional cuisines. On all of its flights, the special Makar Sankranti Menu will be served with advance reservation through 31st January 2023.
The airline has also teamed up with some of the top chefs in the nation to develop a distinctive flavour that is sure to please its customers' palates.
