In order to provide its customers with a smooth travel experience to more than 100 European cities and towns, including those without airports, Air India, one of India's top airlines, recently partnered with AccesRail, an International Air Transport Association (IATA) travel partner.

This intermodal agreement represents a significant turning point for the airline sector and creates new opportunities for tourists looking for comfort and accessibility while exploring Europe. According to reports, this alliance will enable Air India customers to use bus and train services while keeping the same baggage limit, they experience on flights.
Air India shared the news on Twitter and wrote "With the latest partnership with AccesRail, one can now have a seamless Europe Vacation with a single intermodal ticket! This ticket includes on-ground train & bus connections and connects travellers to more than 100 cities & towns in Europe & UK. Moreover, it allows the passengers to enjoy the same luggage benefits on trains/buses as they do on Air India flights!."
Enhanced Connectivity & Accessibility:
By collaborating with AccesRail, Air India hopes to give its customers better accessibility and connectivity to a variety of European locations. Benefits for Passengers:
Numerous advantages for passengers are provided by the intermodal partnership between Air India and AccesRail. First off, it saves time & effort because travellers don't have to make intricate transfer arrangements or buy separate tickets. The second benefit is flexibility, allowing travellers to create their own itineraries and select from a wide variety of European locations. Additionally, by encouraging the use of rail transportation which is known for producing fewer carbon emissions than flying, this cooperation supports environmentally friendly travel.

Along with helping passengers, the partnership between Air India and AccesRail creates new tourism potential for both India and Europe. Indian tourists can now easily visit European destinations that were not previously accessible or required additional connections. This improved connectivity is anticipated to increase travel and promote cultural exchanges between the two regions, fostering economic development and intercultural harmony.
