Air India Introduces Airbus A350 To Enhance Delhi-London Passenger Experience

Air India introduces the Airbus A350 on its Delhi-London route, part of the Vihaan.Ai programme focused on passenger comfort. The aircraft features modern amenities, upgraded seating, and exclusive lounges to enhance the travel experience.

Air India has taken a significant step in enhancing its services on the Delhi-London route by introducing the Airbus A350. This advanced aircraft is set to extend its reach to the US and other global destinations. The initiative is part of Air India's Vihaan.Ai programme, which focuses on improving passenger experiences during long-haul flights.

The Airbus A350 boasts a modern three-class layout. Business Class offers 28 private suites with full-flat beds, while Premium Economy provides 24 seats with extra legroom and enhancements. Economy Class includes 264 seats, all designed for maximum comfort. Each seat features the Panasonic eX3 entertainment system with HD screens, offering over 3,000 hours of content in multiple languages. Additionally, onboard Wi-Fi will soon be available.

Enhanced Amenities and Dining Experience

Passengers travelling in Business and Premium Economy classes will receive luxury amenity kits from Ferragamo and TUMI. Air India's new soft product line, Vista Verve, includes upgraded chinaware, tableware, glassware, and bedding. The dining menu caters to both Indian and international palates, served in premium India-inspired chinaware for added cultural elegance.

In addition to these upgrades, Air India is also refitting its A320neo aircraft into a sophisticated three-class configuration. The A320neo will feature eight luxurious Business Class seats, 24 Premium Economy seats with extra legroom, and 132 comfortable Economy Class seats. Enhancements include new seating arrangements, carpets, curtains, subtle cabin lighting, increased legroom, seat pitch adjustments, holders for electronic devices, and USB ports.

Exclusive Lounges at Major Hubs

To further elevate the travel experience, Air India is developing exclusive premium lounges at key international airports such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Dubai, London, New York, and San Francisco. These lounges aim to offer passengers a blend of comfort and luxury right from the start of their journey.

The introduction of the Airbus A350 marks a pivotal moment in Air India's transformation journey under Vihaan.Ai. By focusing on passenger comfort and modern amenities across its fleet and airport facilities, Air India is setting new standards for long-haul travel experiences.
