While the due security checks & safety protocols are being diligently followed, directed the airport officials & the Air India staff to arrange all the necessary assistance as well as convenient accommodation for the passengers affected," he shared in a post on X at 1 pm. Moreover, it wasn't just Air India that faced a security scare; two IndiGo flights originating from Mumbai also received bomb threats on the same day. These flights, one bound for Muscat and the other for Jeddah, were subjected to security checks before takeoff, following which they were isolated for thorough inspections.
