Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has launched a new feeder bus service under the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) to boost public transportation. This new service aims to make commuting easier and more convenient for the people of Ahmedabad. The service includes two specially designed AMTS feeder buses.

One of the major benefits of this service is for those who park their vehicles at the Sindhu Bhavan Road Multilevel Parking. They can use the feeder bus service for free. For other passengers, the fare is just Rs 5, making it an affordable option for everyone. The buses will run every 15 minutes along the route, ensuring frequent and reliable service for commuters.
Improving Urban Mobility
This feeder bus service is part of a broader plan to develop the city's urban infrastructure and make commuting easier for residents. At the same event, a new foot overbridge on Airport Road was also inaugurated to improve public safety and make it easier for pedestrians to cross busy streets. These projects are all part of efforts to enhance public transportation and urban mobility in Ahmedabad.
The feeder bus service will also feature two new minibuses that are equipped with modern technology. These buses will have CCTV cameras and rear-view cameras to ensure passenger safety. The introduction of these minibuses will provide an improved and secure commuting experience for the city's residents.
Routes and Highlights
The new feeder bus service focuses on key areas in Ahmedabad, making it easier for commuters to access public transportation. Some of the key routes include:
- Sindhu Bhavan Road: This route will connect the parking complex to nearby residential and commercial areas, making it easier for people to get around.
- Airport Road: The service will also offer easier access to the airport, making it more convenient for travelers.
- Local Markets and Malls: The buses will connect several local markets and shopping malls, providing a seamless travel experience for shoppers.

Operating Hours and Benefits
The feeder bus service will run from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with increased frequency during peak commuting times in the morning and evening. This schedule is designed to offer maximum convenience to passengers during rush hours. The buses will operate from the Sindhu Bhavan Road Multilevel Parking, following a circular route through important locations like the Thaltej Metro Station, Pakwan Crossroads, Mansi Circle, and Times Square on Sindhu Bhavan Road.
By introducing this service, AMC aims to encourage more people to use public transportation, which will help reduce traffic congestion and pollution in the city. The affordable fares, combined with the frequent bus service, are expected to make this feeder bus service an essential part of Ahmedabad's public transport network.
The launch of the AMC feeder bus service, inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, marks an important step forward for public transportation in Ahmedabad. With its strategic routes, affordable fares, and modern buses, this new service will make commuting easier, safer, and more convenient for residents, while contributing to a more sustainable and efficient public transport system.
