The Karnataka government is getting ready to organize a grand Cauvery Aarti at a new location. This follows the successful Aarti held at Sankey Lake in Bengaluru. The aim of this event is to worship and pay respect to the Cauvery River, which is known as the life source for many districts in southern Karnataka. The state has set aside a big fund of Rs 92 crore to support this cultural and spiritual event.

Committee Formed to Ensure Success
To make sure the Cauvery Aarti at the new location is a grand success, a special implementation committee has been formed. This committee will study the event in detail and submit a report. Dr. Ram Prasat Manohar, the Chairman of the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB), is leading this committee. He has already played an important role in organizing successful events like the Tunga Aarti in Hampi and the Kaveri Aarti at Sankey Lake.
Strong Support from the State Leaders
The government is all set to organize a grand Cauvery Aarti at the famous Krishna Raja Sagar (KRS) dam. The formation of this committee shows how serious the Karnataka government is about the event. The team includes Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, the Agriculture Minister, and the Mandya District In-charge Minister. Their goal is to support the committee's recommendations and make the Cauvery Aarti a highlight of the state's famous Dasara festival. Through this event, the government hopes to show respect and devotion to Mother Cauvery, a river that supports the lives of millions.
Message from Dr. Ram Prasat Manohar
Dr. Ram Prasat Manohar thanked CM Siddaramaiah and DCM DK Shivakumar for trusting him with the leadership of this important event. He said the team is fully committed to bringing Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar's vision to life. He also assured the public that all preparations are being made to ensure that the event is held with great devotion and excitement.
