How to verify live on NTES/IRCTC
Use the National Train Enquiry System website or app. Search by train number, then tap Rescheduled or Cancelled tabs. Check Today and Tomorrow filters. Cross‑check coach position and platform near departure time. For trains cancelled by Railways, confirmed and RAC e‑tickets receive automatic full refunds to the original account; no TDR is needed.
Station advisories: Asansol, Adra, Purulia, Tatanagar
Arrive early and use foot overbridges to avoid last‑minute platform changes. Adra will see frequent reversals and crew changes, causing queues near footbridges. Keep PNR handy and monitor display boards. If your local is curtailed at Adra, consider onward options via Kharagpur, Bokaro or Ranchi. Save screenshots of NTES status and ticket emails for refund tracking and claims.
The block is scheduled to end on Sunday, September 6, subject to field conditions. We will refresh this list each afternoon with any additional changes announced. Before leaving home, recheck NTES, then confirm at station counters. Travellers using the affected corridors should budget extra time and consider earlier departures where possible.
