During the fourth day of the Budget Session, which saw heated arguments and chaos in the House, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that the government has approved the final route alignment of the Gurugram-Faridabad-Noida-Greater Noida Namo Bharat RRTS-cum-Metro Corridor.

Finalisation of DPR
He said that the Detailed Project Report (DPR) is now being finalised. Instructions have been given to the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), the central government agency responsible for carrying out the project. The Chief Minister said the project follows the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi under the Namo Bharat initiative. It aims to connect major economic centres with fast, safe, and modern transport systems.
Proposed Corridor
The proposed corridor will be around 64 km long, with nearly 52 km passing through Haryana. It is planned as a major regional transport network linking important hubs like Gurugram, Faridabad, and Noida in the NCR. The project is expected to provide smooth, high-speed travel to lakhs of commuters, reduce traffic jams, and support environmental sustainability.
Integrated RRTS & Metro Stretch
In Gurugram, a 14.5 km integrated RRTS and Metro stretch has been approved between IFFCO Chowk and Gwal Pahari. Important stations will include Sector-29, Millennium City Centre, Sector-52, Wazirabad, Sector-57 and Sector-58/61. This section will connect with the Delhi Metro Yellow Line, Gurugram Metro Corridor, and Rapid Metro network for better connectivity.
A 16 km Stretch in Faridabad
In Faridabad, a 16 km stretch from Sainik Colony to Badshahpur has been approved. It will cover areas including NIT, Bata Chowk, and Sectors 12 to 15, and connect with the Delhi Metro Violet Line. The Chief Minister said the corridor will boost investment, create jobs, and support balanced urban growth.
