Bolstering India's railway infrastructure and enhancing nationwide connectivity, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Gujarat to inaugurate 10 new Vande Bharat trains. 10 New Vande Bharat Launched In India

The existing fleet of Vande Bharat Express services comprises nearly 41 trains, traversing 24 states and 256 districts, connecting regions with Broad Gauge (BG) electrified networks. The latest additions aim to further strengthen rail connectivity and provide efficient travel options for passengers.

1. Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central: A crucial link connecting two major cities, streamlining travel for commuters and fostering economic ties.

2. Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam: Strengthening rail connectivity between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, promoting regional development.

3. Mysuru- Dr. MGR Central (Chennai): Facilitating seamless travel between the picturesque city of Mysuru and the bustling metropolis of Chennai.

4. Patna-Lucknow: Enhancing connectivity in Northern India, providing a faster and more efficient mode of transportation.

5. New Jalpaiguri-Patna: Strengthening rail links in the eastern part of the country, catering to the transportation needs of the region.

6. Puri-Visakhapatnam: Connecting the spiritual city of Puri with the port city of Visakhapatnam, promoting tourism and trade.

7. Lucknow - Dehradun: Establishing a direct rail link between the capital of Uttar Pradesh and the picturesque city of Dehradun in Uttarakhand.

8. Kalaburagi Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru: Boosting connectivity between Karnataka's Kalaburagi and the tech hub of Bengaluru.

9. Ranchi-Varanasi: Linking Jharkhand's capital, Ranchi, with the spiritual city of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.

10. Khajuraho- Delhi (Nizamuddin): Connecting the historic town of Khajuraho with the bustling capital, Delhi, facilitating tourism and cultural exchange.

Extended Routes: Enhancing Reach and Accessibility

- Ahmedabad-Jamnagar Vande Bharat: Extended till Dwarka, providing a continuous rail link between Ahmedabad and Dwarka in Gujarat.

- Ajmer- Delhi Sarai Rohilla Vande Bharat: Extended till Chandigarh, improving connectivity between the pilgrimage city of Ajmer and the vibrant city of Chandigarh.

- Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat: Extended till Prayagraj, ensuring seamless rail connectivity between Gorakhpur, Lucknow, and Prayagraj.

- Thiruvananthapuram- Kasargod Vande Bharat: Extended till Mangaluru, connecting the southernmost tip of India to the coastal city of Mangaluru.
