Sitla, Mukteshwar

Sitla is a noted tourist spot located at a distance of 5 km from Mukteshwar. It is a beautiful hill station perched at an elevation of 6000 ft above sea level. This place offers enchanting views of the mighty Himalayan ranges. It spreads across an area of 39 acres and is surrounded by lush green oak trees, pine trees and orchards.

Tourists can see a beautiful stone bungalow here, which was constructed by the British about a century ago. This bungalow is known as the Sitla Estate and tourists can avail lodging facilities here.

The region of Sitla has been developed by a non government organisation named CHIRAG (Central Himalayan Rural Action Group). With the continuous efforts of this organisation, tourism has improved in this region.
