Mangan Weather

Mangan generally has a temperate climate throughout the year as it is located at a low altitude when compared to the other regions in Sikkim. The best time to visit Mangan would be during the season of summer.

Summer

April marks the beginning of summer in Mangan. The season continues till the mid of July. The temperature during this season would range between 28°C and 10°C. This is also the best time to visit Mangan.

Monsoon

The monsoon season in Mangan is from July to September. Heavy rainfall is experienced here during monsoon. This is probably not a good time to visit Mangan.

Winter

The winter season here is from October to February. The temperature falls between 16°C and -5°C. Except for the early winters, it is not considered a good time to travel to Mangan due to the extreme climatic conditions.
