Pindari Glacier, Kumaon

Pindari Glacier is situated amid Nanda Devi and Nandakot Peaks, which lie in the district of Bageshwar. Situated at an altitude of 3627 m, this glacier is about 5 km long. Flowing to the south, this glacier gives rise to river Pindari, which later confluences with river Alaknanada in Karnaprayag.

The trek to Pindari Glacier crosses through villages of Saung and Lohar leading to Dhakuri Pass. From Dhakuri Pass, the trail goes on up to Khati Village, Dwali, Phurkia and finally, Pindar.
