Keezhperumpallam Weather

The best time to visit the place is between the months of October and February. During these months, the weather is quite pleasant; it doesn’t get too hot nor does it get too cold. Traveling is also more comfortable in these months since the sun isn’t scorching.   However, it is advisable to carry some form of woolen clothing to protect you from the cold at night.

Summer

Summers in the village are hot and humid with the maximum temperature touching 32-35 degrees Celsius. The summer begins in the month of March and continues through April, May and June. The hottest month is May and the May sun can cause dehydration and heat strokes. It is not recommended to travel to the village during this time.

Monsoon

Monsoon begins sometime in June, and the place experiences moderate to heavy rainfall along with frequent rainstorms that take on the proportions of cyclonic storm depending on the speed of the wind. The monsoon continues through April and September with light rains showers in the month of October and November.

Winter

Winter months are November, December, January and February with December and January considered the coldest months of the season. However, the temperature during winters does not drop below 20 degrees Celsius and does not rise beyond 25 degrees Celsius on an average. Hence, these months are quite pleasant in the region.
