Day-wise Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Leh
The tour begins from Delhi with a morning flight at 06:40 hrs. You will reach Leh at 08:10 hrs. After reaching Leh, you will be taken to the hotel for check-in. To adjust to the high altitude, you are advised to take full rest on this day. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Day 2: Leh - Sham Valley - Leh (75 km, 2 hrs one way)
After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing on the Leh-Srinagar Highway. Visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. See the Indian Army's Hall of Fame museum and Gurudwara Pather Sahib. Experience the Magnetic Hill where cars move uphill on their own. Watch the beautiful confluence of Indus and Zanskar Rivers. Later, visit Alchi Monastery before returning to Leh.
Day 3: Leh - Nubra
Today, travel to Nubra Valley via the famous Khardungla Pass. After check-in and lunch at the camp, visit Diskit and Hunder villages. Take a walk to explore local life. You can enjoy a camel safari (optional) in the evening. Overnight stay in Nubra.
Day 4: Nubra - Turtuk - Nubra
After breakfast, drive to the peaceful Turtuk Valley, a village that became part of India after the 1971 war. Visit Siachen War Memorial and Thang Zero Point. Have lunch in Turtuk and explore its unique culture. The people here are of Balti origin and follow a different lifestyle. Visit the Balti heritage house and natural cold storage. Return to Nubra for a cultural show and overnight stay.
Day 5: Nubra - Pangong
After an early breakfast, proceed to Pangong Lake. This saltwater lake is 120 km long and stretches into China. It is also known for the movie "Three Idiots." You will love the calm beauty and clear water. On sunny days, the lake shines in many colours. Enjoy your time near the lake and stay overnight in a camp.
Day 6: Pangong - Leh via Changla
Start the day by watching the sunrise over Pangong Lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh. On the way, stop at Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, and Changla Pass. You will also visit Rancho's School from the movie "3 Idiots." Reach Leh and check in to the hotel. In the evening, enjoy shopping and local markets.
Day 7: Leh - Delhi
After breakfast, you will be dropped at Leh Airport to board the 12:00 hrs flight. You will reach Delhi at 13:25 hrs. Your memorable journey through Ladakh ends here.
