Tour Itinerary and Details
Day 1: Arrival in Leh
The journey begins from Delhi Airport with a flight at 09:30 AM. Travelers will reach Leh by 11:00 AM. On arrival, they will be taken to the hotel. The first day is kept for rest to help travelers adjust to the high altitude. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Leh. [L/D]
Day 2: Leh - Sham Valley - Leh (75 km, 2 hours one way)
After breakfast, sightseeing begins on the Leh-Srinagar Highway. Tourists will visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, the Hall of Fame museum by the Indian Army, Zorawar Fort, and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. The Magnetic Hill and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers are also included. The tour also includes a visit to the Alchi Monastery. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Day 3: Leh - Nubra Valley
After breakfast, travelers will head to Nubra Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers, through Khardungla Pass. After check-in and lunch, they will visit Dikshit and Hunder Villages and nearby monasteries. A camel safari (optional) can also be enjoyed in the evening. Overnight stay in Nubra.
Day 4: Nubra - Turtuk - Nubra
Post breakfast, the tour goes to Turtuk Valley, a village won by India during the 1971 war. On the way, travelers will visit the Siachen War Memorial and Thang Zero Point. Lunch will be served at Turtuk village. Tourists will then explore the village, known for its Balti culture. They can visit the Balti Heritage House, museum, and natural cold storage on their own. A cultural show will be arranged in the evening. Overnight stay in Nubra.
Day 5: Nubra - Pangong
After an early breakfast, the tour heads to Pangong Lake, a saltwater lake 120 km long. Two-thirds of the lake lies in China. Travelers will visit the spot where the movie "Three Idiots" was shot and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the lake. On a sunny day, the lake shows seven beautiful color shades. Overnight stay in Pangong.
Day 6: Pangong - Leh via Changla
In the morning, enjoy the sunrise view at Pangong Lake. After breakfast, return to Leh. On the way, visit Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, Changla Pass, and Rancho's School (also known as Druk Padma Karpo School or 3 Idiots School). On arrival in Leh, check in to the hotel and enjoy free time in the evening to explore the local market.
Day 7: Departure from Leh to Delhi
After breakfast, travelers will be taken to Leh Airport to board the flight at 12:00 PM. Arrival in Delhi is scheduled for 1:25 PM.
