Karnataka has received exciting news about the expansion of the Vande Bharat Express train services. Belgaum MP Jagadish Shettar confirmed that a new high-speed Vande Bharat train will soon operate between Belgaum and Bengaluru. This development comes after continuous requests for improving connectivity between Bengaluru and the northern regions of Karnataka were addressed by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav.

Fulfilling a long-standing demand
The decision to start the Vande Bharat Express service between Belgaum and Bengaluru is a big step for Karnataka's transportation network. The new train service will begin from Belgaum in the morning, reach Bengaluru during the day, and return to Belgaum by night. MP Jagadish Shettar expressed his happiness and thanked the central government for approving the new train. He said, "It is a matter of great joy that Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav has given the necessary approval/order for running a new Vande Bharat Express train from Belgaum to Bengaluru, in response to our demand for extending the Vande Bharat Express service currently running between Bengaluru and Dharwad to Belgaum city."
He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Union Food and Civil Supplies Minister Prahlad Joshi, and Union Minister of State for Railways V. Somanna for their support in making this train possible.
Enhancing Karnataka's rail connectivity
