Udai Bilas Palace, Dungarpur

Udai Bilas Palace was the royal residence of the King Maharawal Udai Singh II, a great advocate of architecture and art. This place is exemplary of the Rajputana architectural style. The intricately designed balconies, bracketed windows, arches, pillars and panels attract tourists' attention. This enchanting palace is located on the banks of the Gaib Sagar Lake.

'Parewa' and 'Balwariya' stones were used in the construction of the palace. The palace has three parts, namely Raniwas, Udai Bilas and Krishna Prakash or Ek Thambiya Mahal. The walls of the palace are adorned with an extraordinary collection of beautiful paintings. Presently, this palace serves as a famous heritage hotel of Rajasthan.
