How to reach Darasuram by train

Darasuram has its own railway station and it is possible to reach here through rail. The railway station is not a major one but has trains that ply to Kumbakonam and Thanjavur on a regular basis. Several trains that travel from Kumbakonam and Thanjavur to the cities of Chennai, Banglaore, Trichy and Madurai also pass through Darasuram. Hence, it is not at all difficult to reach the town by train.
