The months of October to March are pleasant and appropriate for visiting the attractions in Bodhgaya. Even months of June to September are a good choice for short temple visits.

Summer

The summer months of peak heat are March to May. These months record maximum temperatures in the range of 45 °C to 47 °C. The heat can get unbearable during the season.

Monsoon

The monsoons tend to get tropical as Bodhgaya receives plenty of rain. The rainy months of June extending up to August receive a lot of rain and tend to be humid. But the plus side is the weather becomes calm and pleasant.

Winter

The winter season is very pleasant and lasts from December to February with temperature falling in the range between 28°C to 4°C.
