Monsoon

(Any time of the year): Monsoons in the Amarnath region can be unpredictable. Rains can hit the place at any time of the year. The slippary roads during this season makes it difficult for travellers to climb the curved paths. Tourists must be careful while visiting the place during the monsoons.

Winter

(November to April): Amarnath experiences chilly winters. Temperatures can go down to a minimum of -5℃ during this season. Travellers from all over come here to witness its beautiful snowfall.
