Alchi experiences extreme climatic conditions with freeing winters. It, however, has pleasant summers. During summers, night time temperatures can fall sharply while the winters here can be quite uncomfortable.

Summer

(April to June): The climatic conditions of Alchi, during summers can be quite pleasant. Temperatures during the day can go up to a maximum of 25 degree C and a minimum of 12 degree C at night. Monsoon

Winter

(December to February): Alchi experiences frigid winters with temperatures falling well below the freezing point with a minimum of as little as -20℃. The maximum temperature recorded during this season has been as low as 7℃. Travellers avoid visiting this place during winters as the low temperatures make staying here extremely uncomfortable.
