Vyadeshwar Temple, Guhagar

The Vyadeshwar Temple is situated in the Ratnagiri district in the village of Guhagar. Like the Guhagar Beach, the Vyadeshwar Temple too is located near the Guhagar State Transport Bus Depot.

The shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva and has several other idols of Talkeshwar, Udaleshwar and Balkeshwar. Idols of gods like Lord Ganesha, Goddess Sridevi, Lord Vishnu and Lord Surya are found here.

This temple is especially a major attraction during the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri – a festival celebrated in reverence of Lord Shiva. There is a huge fair organized during the same period and visitors will delight in the local flavour and culture that is exhibited during this time.
