Alibag, the coastal town in Raigad, is known for tourism. The place is full of beaches: Alibag beach, Varsoli beach, Kashib beach, Korlai beach and so on.

Kolad is a village on the banks of river Kundalika in Raigad. In recent times, the village is gaining popularity because of the river rafting and adventure sports conducted by various resorts.

Apart from adventure sports, Kolad has many other tourist attractions: Devi Kedar Janani Hill, Bhira Dam, Kolad Dam, Sutarwadi Lake, Tala Fort, Kuda Caves.

Igatpuri is a hill station in Nashik of Maharashtra. It is well known for a yoga school called Vipassana International Academy; an ancient technique of meditation 'Vipassana' is taught.

Karjat is a city in Raigad which is surrounded by the Western Ghats, Bhor Ghat and even some of the coastal belt of Konkan region.

The city is known for different things like adventure sports, tourism, film shootings, educational institutes for spa hospitality, and plantations.

ND Studios in Karjat is popular among film circuit and the locations serve as shooting spots.

The hill station of Matheran is Asia's only automobile-free hill station. No private vehicles are allowed. This initiative was taken for the protection of natural heritage and the animal habitat.

Matheran has various attractions from wildlife tourism, sightseeing, trekking , etc. It takes almost 3 days to cover all the places here. However, tourists can visit some prominent places in a day.

There are various trains and buses which take travellers to certain points and from there people have to walk or trekkers to various points in Matheran.

The sunset view in this hill station is breathtaking and is one of the most popular attractions in this place.
