Colaba Causeway
The Colaba causeway is a place that would make you smile even if you were having a dull day otherwise. The lane that connects Colaba and Old Woman's Island is one of the most popular shopping streets of Mumbai.

From colourful bangles, heavy necklaces and other ethnic jewellery, you can find funky outfits, crystals, brass items and a lot more here. From cheap products to high-end cosmetics and other stuff, the street is packed with everything that you would love to buy.
Chor Bazaar
Chor Bazaar literally means 'Thieves' Market'. The street was earlier named as Shor Bazaar which means 'noisy market'. The British mispronounced it as Chor Bazaar and stolen goods started being sold here eventually bringing sense to its new name!
The street sells commodities at throwaway prices and it is said that if you lose something in Mumbai, you can buy it back from Chor Bazaar. Located near Mohammed Ali Road in South Mumbai, the market remains closed on Fridays. It is open on all other days from 11am to 7pm.
Linking Road
The Linking Road is located at Bandra West. The road is full with stalls that sell desi chaats like pani puri & bhel puri and many stores that sell traditional Indian wear and other goods like hair clips, belts and other fashion accessories. The street is open on all days from 10am to 10pm.

Crawford Market
This is a place where the locals come to shop. You can find fresh produce like fruits, vegetables and fresh flowers here. The market has outlets that sell birds, fish and other pets too. You can also get items like shampoos, soaps, spices, etc. here.
Located opposite to the Mumbai Police Headquarters in South Mumbai, the street remains open from Monday to Saturday from morning till late evening. However, the market is open during morning on Sundays as well.
Fashion Street
From traditional wear, footwear and accessories, you can also find furniture, gadgets and even local street food stalls at the Fashion Street in Mumbai. Use your bargaining skills and if you are lucky enough, you could get real good items at the best prices ever!
The street is a vibrant market place located just opposite to Azad Maidan at M. G Road in South Mumbai. It is open on all days from morning till late evening.
