The hill station of Darjeeling has beauty that cannot be quite expressed in words and has to be experienced firsthand. Batasia Loop and War Memorial

Cable Car
Among the attractions in Darjeeling is the Cable Car that takes you from Darjeeling to the Ranjit Valley. The ride in the ropeway is absolutely enthralling, and you get to see the beautiful scenery all around you. It is advised people having fear of heights should not embark on this ride.

Darjeeling Himalayan Railway
The toy train in Darjeeling is very famous, and everyone who visits the place makes it a point to take a ride on the toy train. Today the toy train is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the mini-railways that run in our country. This train has been featured in many Bollywood movies and is the pride of the place. It is fun to take a ride in this train as it covers some of the beautiful locales of the region.

A tourist place in Darjeeling is the Happy Valley Tea Estate, which accounts for the maximum tea production here. It also makes some of the best quality of tea in the world. How to Reach Darjeeling
By Air: Siliguri international airport serves Darjeeling with connections to many Indian cities and some international destinations.
By Train: Darjeeling has a railway station that is well-connected to the major cities in our country.
By Road: Darjeeling can be accessed via NH-31 followed by NH-55 and is in proximity to Siliguri and Kalimpong. You can reach here by a bus or hire a cab as well.
