Jammu is all set to open Tirupati Balaji Temple on June 8, Thursday as the construction work along with supporting facilities is very close to completion amid Shivalik forests in Majeen which will also be the largest temple in the Jammu region.
One of the most popular temples in India, Tirupati Balaji Temple draws millions of worshippers each year. The temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It is believed that visiting the temple and seeking the blessings of the Lord brings good fortune, prosperity, and happiness.
According to officials, the temple's construction will be finished by the first week of this month. The pujaris at the Tirupati Balaji Temple in Jammu conducted a special pooja on June 4, as per reports. The temple will then welcome worshippers on June 8 followed by the inaugural ceremony by Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha.
Andhra Pradesh CM, YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been invited to take part in the Maha Samprokshanam celebration of the Sri Vari temple in Jammu on June 8. He would be accompanied by other priests and board members in addition to Y. V. Subba Reddy, Chairperson of TTD.

According to a report by Greater Kashmir, construction on the temple along with associated infrastructure, such as parking, lodging, a lavatory complex, a meditation center, and a Vedic school, began in 2021 after TTD was given a 40-year lease on 496 kanals as well as 17 marlas of land close to Majeen Village by Jammu and Kashmir government.
