Tomorrow, Monday, September 28, Mysuru’s Yuva Sambhrama opens 5–10 PM at Manasagangothri’s Open Air Theatre. It is the first marquee public programme of this year’s Dasara. Why it matters now: the youth extravaganza runs from September 28 to October 5, nightly. Playback singer Vijay Prakash inaugurates it, with 300 plus colleges performing under a Green theme. Expect packed stands, but open entry. The palace illumination begins October 11, 7–10 PM, and most festival stages remain free to attend.

Start with the Gold Card, which bundles entry and numbered seats for key finales. Prices start at ₹6,500. Procession seats start at ₹3,500; Torchlight Parade at ₹1,500; Drone Show at ₹1,000. Bengaluru–Mysuru travel and parking tips
From Bengaluru, trains take about two hours to Mysuru Junction, with frequent departures. KSRTC also runs buses, and Flybus coaches connect Bengaluru airport and Mysuru. Drivers should target the expressway before 8 AM or after lunch. Park at designated hubs; free shuttles run every ten minutes, 9 AM to 11 PM.
For a 24–36 hour budget run, leave Bengaluru at noon on Monday. Check in near the station, then catch Yuva Sambhrama from 5 to 8:30 PM. Next morning, visit Chamundi Hill at dawn, tour the Palace, and pick Zoo or Karanji Lake. After October 11, fold in Flower Show and Aahara Mela before returning.
