How To Reach Kolad
By Air: Chatrapathi Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai is the nearest airport which is located at a distance of 125 km from here. The airport has flights connecting to all the major airports across the country as well as to a few abroad.
By Train: Kolad railway station is well connected to all the major towns and cities across the state and across the country.
By Road: Kolad is well connected by roads and has regular buses which operate from Mumbai and Pune at regular intervals. Mumbai is at a distance of approximately 122 km from here and Pune is around 114 km away from here, which makes it an excellent weekend getaway from both the cities.

Kuda Caves
Kuda is well known for the Buddhist caves found here. The rock cut caves are seen as a spectacular example of Buddhist cave art and architectural excellence.
