Day 1: Bhubaneswar to Ahmedabad
Your journey begins with a flight from Bhubaneswar to Ahmedabad. After arrival in the evening, you'll head straight to your hotel in the city for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 2: Ahmedabad Local Sightseeing
The next day starts with a visit to two of Ahmedabad's most famous landmarks. First is Gandhi Ashram, where Mahatma Gandhi lived and led India's freedom movement. Then, you will explore the Akshardham Temple, a grand spiritual and cultural campus dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan.
Day 3: Ahmedabad to Dwarka
After breakfast, you travel by road to the holy city of Dwarka, known as the kingdom of Lord Krishna. Depending on the time, you may get to attend the evening aarti (prayer) at Dwarkadhish Temple.
Day 4: Exploring Dwarka, Bet Dwarka, and Nageshwar
The day starts with early morning darshan at the Dwarkadhish Temple, one of the Char Dhams. You can also witness a peaceful sunrise at Gomti Ghat. Later, you'll visit Bet Dwarka (a small island believed to be Lord Krishna's residence), Nageshwar Jyotirlinga (one of the 12 sacred Shiva shrines), and the Rukmini Temple. The evening is free for leisure and shopping in local markets.
Day 5: Dwarka - Porbandar - Somnath
The journey continues to Somnath via Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Here, you will visit Kirti Mandir and Sudama Temple. In Somnath, get ready for an evening darshan at the grand Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple, followed by a light and sound show (subject to weather).
Day 6: Somnath to Diu
After checking out, you'll explore Somnath further with visits to Triveni Sangam (the meeting point of three rivers) and Bhalka Tirth (where Lord Krishna is believed to have left the earth). Then head to Diu, a coastal town known for its charm and quiet beauty. Visit Naida Caves, Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple, and the historic Diu Fort. Enjoy a relaxed evening at Diu's scenic beaches.
Day 7: Diu to Gir
Next, you'll head to Gir National Park, home to the majestic Asiatic Lion. In the afternoon, take a trip to Devaliya Safari Park, where you may spot lions and other wildlife.
Day 8: Gir to Kevadia
On this day, you'll travel to Kevadia, the town that hosts the world-famous Statue of Unity. After a long road journey, you'll settle in for a peaceful overnight stay.
Day 9: Statue of Unity and Vadodara
Start the day with a visit to the Statue of Unity, the tallest statue in the world, dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Nearby, you'll explore the Valley of Flowers and Sardar Sarovar Dam. Later, visit Nilkanth Dham, a beautiful temple complex, before reaching Vadodara for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Vadodara Local and Return to Bhubaneswar
The final day includes visits to Laxmi Vilas Palace, an architectural gem, and Sur Sagar Lake, located in the heart of Vadodara. After lunch, you'll be taken to the airport for your flight back to Bhubaneswar.
