Father's Day Special: Gift Your Dad a Trip!

By Siji Ram

When he is around I do not have to fear for anything. He is my super-hero and he is my greatest friend for life; he is the only one who never wants me to see disappointed at any point in life and he is my greatest strength and blessing. Well, who are we talking about here? Yes, it's about our fathers we are talking about.

Dads are the best things God ever created and I guess all daughters will certainly agree with me.
Taking gifts from him always is amazing but you giving it to him in return is all the more fascinating. This Father's day why don't you take your dad on an amazing trip and spend some great time with him.

Come on! Let's see some of the best places to hang out with your dearly daddies! :)

For a super cool dad: Plan an exquisite trip at Goa. With an amazing view of the beaches and local fenny in the hand; dance to the tunes of the music and go on a merry-trip. Hang-out with your dad on the cruise and hit the shacks for some sumptuous local cuisines. What are you waiting for?

For a silent dad: Well, if you are wondering where to take your lovely quiet dad on an outing; book a quiet boat-house in the God's own country and let him drown in the serenity of the mystical nature.

For a spiritual dad: Take your dad to Auroville, a place synonymous to peace. Enjoy the beauty of silence with him, away from luxury, yet filled with contentment.

For the rock-star dad: For some amazing night life experience, take your dad to the city of dreams, Bengaluru. The city never sleeps and you can have a great time with a few drinks and some small-talk at one of those pubs in the city!

For the religious dad: Is your dad religious and does he prefer temples to any other picnic spot? Let's take him to Rameswaram this Father's Day. Apart from the obvious reason of attaining salvation, you can also view the Pamban Bridge is worth a sight!

For the intellectual dad: Not all daddies are adventurous or cool ones. If your dad is the nerdy type, it would be great to take your dad to Asia's largest library, the Anna Centenary Library in Chennai or to the National Museum in Delhi which is the largest museum in India.
