A Roaring Good Time with Recycled Replicas

On January 17, 2024, the MCD's initiative came to life, as the gates of the dinosaur-themed park opened for the public. The park features dinosaurs ranging from 3 to 60 feet tall, each crafted ingeniously from 300 tonnes of waste. These aren't just static displays; many of the dinosaur replicas are interactive, complete with moving parts, and some even showcase sound and light features to engage the senses. The children's delight was palpable on the inaugural day, as they scampered around the life-sized prehistoric creatures, discovering play sculptures, rides, and various play areas integrated into the dinosaur designs.

Accessibility and Affordability in Mind

The MCD official emphasized that the dinosaur park is designed with children's enjoyment and education in mind, ensuring accessibility without additional fees. Visitors can explore both the dinosaur section and the original park, featuring replicas of the Seven Wonders of the World, with a single entry ticket. The pricing is considerate, with different rates for adults and children, and no charge for senior citizens and toddlers. The park's thoughtful design includes two common entry and exit points, making it convenient for families to enjoy a full day of adventure and learning.
