Unarguably, one of the most beautiful temples in Himachal Pradesh, Sage Prashar Temple is located around Lake Prashar atop mountain ranges and is surrounded by the lush greenery of hills and snow-clad mountains. It is a 13th-century pagoda-type temple which is dedicated to Sage Prashar, who is said to have meditated around the lake. It is believed that the temple was built by a baby, using the wood obtained from a single tree. As per legends, it also said that the lake was created by the Pandavas who came here to spend the rest of their lives after the end of Mahabharata War.
