Athirapally Waterfalls
Athirapally is one of the wonders of Kerala. The gushing waterfalls located in Thrissur district is not to be missed on a trip to Kerala. It is located around 78 km from Kochi.
Agasthyarkoodam Peak
This peak is believed to be the abode of Saint Agasthya, who is a character from the Indian mythology. A trek to this peak would take you to a place rich in flora and fauna. This is also one of the very few places where you can find Neelakkurinji, a flower that blooms once in 12 years.

Vembanad Lake
Vembanad Lake is the biggest lake in Kerala and the longest lake in India. Spread across several districts of Kerala, Vembanad Lake is where the Nehru Trophy Boat Race is held during the time of Onam.
Edakkal Caves
Edakkal Caves in Wayanad are a cluster of caves located near Kalpetta. It is a historical site that has attracted historians and archaeologists from around the world. A trek to these caves gives you an insight to the ancient times. Read more here.
Chembra Peak

Silent Valley National Park
The Silent Valley National park is located in Palakkad district of Kerala. Totally away from the buzz of the city, it would be a great experience visiting the national park. It is known to be home to a large population of Lion-tailed Macaque among the other animals. The peak also has a mention in Hindu mythology.
Kochi
Kochi is perhaps the most happening town of Kerala. A visit to this place would amaze you at the different cultures of people who have migrated from their lands to live in Kochi, the Queen of the Arabian Sea.
