2. Bal Bhavan

The old government aquarium is not among the best-maintained destinations in Bangalore, but nevertheless it is fun to watch your child's face light up as they see the variety of fish here. The two-storey building houses a decent number of fishes and is definitely worth a visit at least once. The entry fee is nominal. It is situated close to the Cubbon Park, allowing you to explore further once you are done with the aquarium. The surrounding area also has plenty of snack and street food options.

4. Government Museum
Best suited for older children, the Government Museum in Bangalore is among the oldest in the country and the second oldest in the south of India. 5. Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium
